Take time to Celebrate, Mojo411, SOS215, DCD229, Cards4guys84

Mojo Monday #411, Sketch
Shopping our Stash Layer it on me!
Die Cuttin Divas Celebration
Cards4guys It's about Time

It's rare when I can get four challenges in one card and make it work! I love the sketch and the themes this week.  I used an embossing folder for the background and die cut out a green clock face to add as embellishment. I used five different rubber stamps. The "take time to" was an angel company stamp that I cut the words to separate "smell the roses" making it more versatile.  Celebrate is a well used and loved Stampin up sentiment along with the large clock face.  The two smaller clock faces are clear stamps (source unknown).  The patterned paper is called "Winchester" from The Angel Company.

Soccer happy birthday, AHS#120

I like the simplicity and versatility of the sketch this week at Atlantic Hearts:  I first found the scraps of blue and green and then the background green paper and trim.  I decided a boy's card would work and found the soccer ball in my stash.  I like the Happy Birthday sentiment being in brackets because it made me think of goal posts.  simple and fun.

365 Cards: #73 Thursday Sketch

I love inchie art! 1 x 1 mini pieces of original artwork. I was working on a black and white challenge for a team that I am part of on Etsy.  I started making inchies and when I saw today's sketch on 365 cards, I knew instantly  how I was going to complete the card.  Lot's of details went into this greeting ~ lace, buttons, ribbon, paper punches, sentiments, etc. on top of layers of cardstock.  each one inch square is created, then arranged and added to a card front.   I collect inchies as well as ATC's in a binder, that I love to look at and be inspired by.  This card is available to purchase in my Etsy shop.

365 Cards #72 Wednesday Sketch

Today on 365 Cards we are continuing with a whole week of sketches:  When I saw all those pieces of paper in random sizes it made me think of fabric scraps.  I remembered this Stampin Up set from 2003 called "I like your style".  I stamped the dress forms and paper pieced patterned paper over the forms.   I used stampin up punches and pieces of measuring tape to accent around the image.  I stamped the sentiment on a tag and added pieces of rick rack and thread to complete the look of this fun encouragement card.  This card is available to purchase from my Etsy shop.

365 Cards: #64 White Space

This is the sketch today on 365 cards.  I used my creative memories cutting system to make my circle and used a brass stencil to create my ladybug.  I added some ribbon, flowers,  and a sentiment for a fast and fun little card.  If you zoom in you can see I cut around the ladybugs wing so I could put the ribbon underneath her.  I made this card for ME today...you want to know why?? I won the spotlight designer for one of my cards this week on  365 cards!!  As if that wasn't enough I also won a $10 gift certificate for Shannon's Sentiments how cool is that! yippee for me :0)  I'll be sure to make a card with one of her images soon.  This card and the rubber stamp are available to purchase from Etsy shop.  Blessings on your day!
