365 Cards: Heartsong #39

Having a heart for God is my heartsong.  Today on 365 cards http://365cards.blogspot.com/ we were asked "So what makes your heart sing??"  and my answer is the Lord! :)
I used a Stampin Up Background stamp and Heart punch to help create this Christian encouragement greeting.  I added a metal heart that was part of a necklace from the thrift store with a floss bow and some rick rack for embellishment.

365 Cards Day 23, Pink Elephant 96, BG Recycled

I was working on this for 365 Cards ABC challenge, and we are up to the letters G, H, & I.
G is for Grosgrain, H is for Heart, and I is for Ink.  I spotted a great sketch on The Pink elephant that showed a heart embellishment in the design.  I picked Basic Grey patterned paper called "Green at heart" veggies and Stampin Up cardstock and sentiment.  I found this button cover in my charm drawer that I decided to recycle into the design. ~ "Follow your heart it knows the way" ~

365 Cards: Repurposed

The title of this challenge is right up my alley since I am Creativeseconds!  Did you ever buy paper just because it was 75% off?! that's what I did with this Halloween themed paper pack by "Me and my big ideas".  Today's challenge on: http://365cards.blogspot.com/  is to find some paper in your stash that was intended for one holiday/season and give it a new life.  I think this spider card would make a great birthday or thinking of you card for a little boy.
