A vintage kind of love, MOJO431, APP57

Mojo monday#431 and Always Playing with Paper #57

I spotted this sketch on Mojo monday first, then I found the inspiration photo challenge and pulled out my tub of vintage supplies.  I knew I had lace, but the flowers I was finding in my stash were too big.   I opted for an antique rhinestone button instead.  I fastened the button to the lace with a pin and pop dots so that it could be removed for a collection or be reused again.  The rhinestone embellishments I cut off of wire (floral pick?) from a thrift store find.    Due to the embellishments, I think giving this card in a clear plastic box would protective and beautiful.

For the Newlyweds

I made this so that I would have a wedding card to sell at the craft show I'm doing this saturday.  I wanted to use vintage items to remind the newlyweds to look to those who have been married for 50 years for wisdom and encouragement in their new marriage.  The lace was found at an estate sale, and the pin while I was out thrifting one day.

Get Sketchy #80

Get Sketchy's challange made me think of these great Grannie crochet flowers I have in my stash.  I then remembered this diecut that reads "Grandma".  From there I pulled out more vintage themed items and created a collage card.  I think this would make a loving note card from Grandma, or it could be used as a sympathy card as well.
