More than your big!, Mojo433
My daughter just joined a Sorority at Virginia Tech, Alpha Qui Omega (AXO) and she is so excited about it! I made her a Valentine that speaks her new lingo ~ "I love you more than your BIG!" I used the sketch at Mojo Monday to design my special greeting. I used two different stamps and an clear alphabet stamp to create the words. I fussy cut the word "big" out of pattern paper to make it stand out more. I'm going to send her Chocolates and a few other surprises too ~

Yum Yum,MOJO432, TT278
Mojomonday #432 Sketch.
Die Cuttin Divas: Chocolate cake.
Cardz for Guz: Spots & stripes.
Crafty Cardmakers #156: Punches/Dies
Tuesday Throwdown #278: Anything Goes
When I saw Mojo's sketch on Monday I had nothing to pair it with to get me started. I found the inspiration photo on Diva's blog and unearthed my wonderful cake stamp from impression obsession (see above photo). I regret to admit that this card took waaaay to long to create! I cut out pattern paper that was too busy and tried the cake several different ways until I reached my happy place. I ended up stamping the cake on craft paper with brown ink twice and layering the two with pop dots to make it stand out more. I also stamped it a third time on cream colored paper and cut out the plate which helped make the piece of cake become the focal point. The yum yum stamp is a Stampin Up oldie along with the two punches.
TIP: The cream colored paper was a thrift store find of index file cards which are thicker then card stock and great to stamp on.

A vintage kind of love, MOJO431, APP57

Mojo monday#431 and Always Playing with Paper #57

I spotted this sketch on Mojo monday first, then I found the inspiration photo challenge and pulled out my tub of vintage supplies. I knew I had lace, but the flowers I was finding in my stash were too big. I opted for an antique rhinestone button instead. I fastened the button to the lace with a pin and pop dots so that it could be removed for a collection or be reused again. The rhinestone embellishments I cut off of wire (floral pick?) from a thrift store find. Due to the embellishments, I think giving this card in a clear plastic box would protective and beautiful.

Joy Makers, Mojo430, CIC342
I copied down the sketch and got into my scrapbook paper. The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge called for the colors lilac, grey and white. I found a paper pack by Oriental Trading called "Field Notes" that I love. It has soft vintage colors and images that make cards almost by themselves. I bought this paper years ago and have bits and pieces left, but they don't seem to carry it anymore.
I found the rub-on butterfly in the same colors by royal brush. The saying reads "Blessed are the joy makers" by Nathaniel Parker Willis.. This card will make a wonderful thank you note for a special friend of mine.

J'Adore MOJO338, TSTR#211

first I found the polka dot card, then I was looking through my paper stacks and spotted this great paper with the Eiffel Tower. I picked Fleur De Lis instead of banners to keep it french and added my button, flower and stamped sentiment for the Shabby tea room. I rarely think to turn my paper! Thanks Mojo for the creative sketch and Shabby Tea for the embellishment inspiration.

One of a Kind Mojo Monday #336
Here is the sketch for Mojo Monday #336 and what I came up with. I used a Recollections paper pack from Micheals and a die cut flower and leaf for embellishment. I fussy cut the butterfly and the "one of a kind" banner from the scrapbook paper pack. This will make a cute card for a spring birthday or encouragement note. Thanks Mojo for the inspiration today!

I like your Style Washi tape card for Mojo Monday Sketch # 334, Shabby Tea Room # 207
I created another card using the Mojo Monday sketch for the "Wishy Washy" Shabby Tea room challenge #207
I wanted to use some of my pretty pink washi tape and the martha stewart pink flower embellishment for this challenge. With all the patterns going on I thought the Stampin Up sentiment that reads "I like your style" paired well with this card.
Thinking of you Mojo Monday #334 Sketch and Etsy Paradise Team B & W
Mojo Monday #334 Sketch Challenge Tall and Skinny, I combined this idea with a challenge on Etsy; team Paradise to create something Black and White. I used Washi tape and Stampin Up "festival of prints" designer paper stack. I added a 3D yellow flower sticker by Martha Stewart and a "Thinking of you" sentiment stamp from Stampin Up. I love the colors, the patterns, and the sketch design on this card.

Mojo Monday #188 Smile
I saw this sketch on Mojo Monday and decided to use K & Co's sweet nectar die cuts to make my 5 1/2 inch square card. I have my own personal challenge going on to see how many cards I can make with this one paper pack! I think this card is bright and happy and sure to make someone "Smile"
