Coffee,LIM#395, Beverages, CHPP's May

This weeks challenge at Less Is More is to make a CAS card with a beverage theme.  I used the stamp set and Die from Papertrey Ink called "Latte Love".  rather then coloring in the cups, I stamped and fussy cut stampin Up DSP in four different colors.   CHPP's Challenge for May is to use patterned paper, so I also entered the card on that blog as well.

Easter blessings, white on white, LIM,ATCAS#81

Happy 5th Blogaversary to Chrissie and Mandy at  Less is More!   The theme this week is white on white.  I combined that card idea with Sketch Saturday's drawing, and the word "bloom" at addicted to CAS, and proceeded to craft. This card helps me justify why I own soooo much stuff! I love to emboss and diecut, and white on white makes cards look so elegant.  I had no idea I was going to make an Easter card when I started, but when I die cut the leaf border and put it in front of the oval, it reminded me of an egg!  Hence the creation of a spring card in February.  Th sequin flower from K&Co added the bling that I needed to pull it all together.

 The Challenge at Less is more is to create a silhouette and I thought once again of my big butterfly die.  I had to try it in white with black and then black with white before I could decide which I liked best.  While I liked them both,  I picked the white because I think it pops more and looks more like a silhouette ~ 

It's the most wonderful time of the year

I used a project life card "It's the most wonderful time of the year" and added a green strip with red and white bakers twine along with a red rhinestone for the holly berry and a clear for the inside medallion on the Stampin' Up image that reads "Merry Christmas".
