Sisters and Friends, cardabilities #95

Created for Cardabilities Sketch #95
When I saw this sketch, I thought of the K & Co. designer paper by Brenda Walton.  I love the colors of the flowers in this collection, they look vintage and romantic.  I also used a sentiment tag by K & Co. that reads "Sisters and friends" and tied some pink twine to match.  I wanted the tag to sit into the arrangement like the sketch, so I cut around the flower then inked the edges so they wouldn't look so white, and glued in my tag.  I used the same green color as the tag to break up the card at the bottom and make it more cohesive.

Pink Elephant Challenge: Spring Theme

I'm sooooo ready for Spring! I love using flowers and rhinestones for bling!  The rick rack is fun, and helped to balance the other side of the card.  I finally used my new embossing folder from stampin up too.  This will be a nice "Thinking of you" card to send to a friend next week.

Arch Card: 365 cards challenge

Today's Challenge was to make a card with an arch. When I think of arches my mind envisions secret gardens with gates and fairies. This card was stamped and colored with watercolor pencils and markers in a collage theme.
